MySORTED is one organised, secure place for the important information in your life.Documents. Records. Information. Reminders. Important dates. Instructions. And the things the people you trust may one day need to find.Instead of having information scattered across computers, phones, emails, WhatsApp, cloud storage, external hard drives, filing cabinets, drawers — and your memory — MySORTED gives it a logical home.

MySORTED is for adults of any age who want the important information in their lives to be easier to organise, find and manage. It may be particularly valuable for people who:have accumulated years of important documents and information;manage information for a household or family;help elderly parents or relatives;travel frequently;run a business;want to be better prepared for an emergency;are planning for later life;simply want to spend less time wondering, "Where did I put that?"You don't have to be technically confident to use MySORTED. That's part of the point.

No.MySORTED is being designed specifically to make organising information simpler rather than more complicated. You shouldn't have to understand complicated computer terminology or file-management systems just to organise your life.

You create your MySORTED account using your email address.MySORTED will use secure authentication, including passkeys and two-factor authentication (2FA), to help protect access to your account.A passkey allows you to use the security already built into your phone, tablet or computer — such as your fingerprint, facial recognition or device PIN.The aim is simple:Strong security without making MySORTED difficult to use.

MySORTED will support passkeys as a secure and simple way to access your account.Depending on your device, this could mean using your fingerprint, facial recognition or device PIN to confirm that you are you.Additional authentication measures, including two-factor authentication (2FA), can provide another layer of protection where appropriate. You shouldn't need to understand the technology behind it.You simply need a secure way to prove that you are you.

A passkey is a modern, secure alternative to relying solely on a traditional password.Instead of having to remember another complicated password, you can authenticate using the security already built into your device — such as your fingerprint, facial recognition or device PIN.Passkeys are designed to be both easier to use and more resistant to phishing and password theft. The technology behind them may be sophisticated.Using them shouldn't be.

Two-factor authentication adds another layer of protection when accessing your account.Instead of relying on only one method of proving who you are, a second form of verification can be required. It's similar to the additional security many people already use for online banking and other sensitive accounts. The purpose is straightforward:If one layer of security is compromised, another still stands between an unauthorised person and your information.

Losing a device shouldn't mean losing your MySORTED account.Secure account-recovery procedures will allow you to regain access after your identity has been appropriately verified. You should also protect your devices using the security features they provide, including a PIN, password, fingerprint or facial recognition.
